I've been listening to a lot of Steve Austin podcasts on Youtube. He's a wrestler.

They were pretty good. He seems to talk to other wrestlers mostly. So I decided to seek out these podcasts from the source.

Episode 162 is entitled "Trash Talkin', The Ric Flair Model". I got the words jumbled so I thought that this would be him interviewing "The Model" Rick Martel.

No. I defy anybody to listen to the entirety of that podcast. It starts off with about ten minutes of advertisements but I knew that going in. If you don't care about DDP Yoga, underpants, and various supplements, you can just skip ahead.

I listened to over an hour and it's just him talking crap. I kept waiting for the meat of this podcast. Where's Rick Martel? I thought he was dead. I was probably thinking of Rick Rude.

But no, he just goes on and on about the minutia of his life. He tells a 15 minute story about how he's thinking of putting paper towel dispensers in his bathrooms. Why am I listening to this? I don't care about Stone Cold's theoretical bathroom fixtures.

What he needs is somebody to talk to. I accept that he can't find a guest every week. But just get a sidekick to act as a sounding board. Otherwise, it's just him talking crap. The most boring nonsense I've ever heard.

When he's actually interviewing somebody, it's good, though. I liked his recent Bas Rutten interview.
