They show this film to an insanely regular degree.
I did a quick Google search and the semi-mainstream press was noting this as early as March 2014.

Possibly 2007 was the first time that BBC1 has shown Meet the Fockers (which was released in 2004).

I understand that the BBC is trying (and has succeeded) in destroying BBC3. It's a well-known media tactic to erode support for a television show (or entire network in this case) by turning it so crap that nobody will miss it and it can be quietly cancelled.
But why does the BBC continue to show this particular film? Indeed, they'll show the entire trilogy (or whatever it is) back to back for days on end.
Why don't they show the American Pie films? There were a few of them and they're similar crude comedy films. Or a bit different, the Cheech and Chong films? They're older but would probably be cheaper to broadcast than Meet the Fockers. Or what about Revenge of the Nerds? Police Academy? Porkys? There's probably a few others from the 80s that are similar in theme to Meet the Fockers.
So the question remains, why Meet the Fockers? My theory is that it's a very Jewish film series.
Meet the Fockers (and probably the rest of the series but let's just look at Meet the Fockers) stars Ben Stiller, Dustin Hofman, and Barbara Steisand. These are some of the most powerful Jewish entertainers in Hollywood.
It was produced and directed by Jay Roach: a Jew.
Also produced by Jane Rosenthal and Nancy Tenenbaum: Jews.
Written by John Hamburg and Marc Hyman: Jews.
Music by Randy Newman: Jew.
Cinematography by John Schwartzman: Jew.
North American distribution by Universal Pictures whose Chairman and COO is Ronald Meyer: Jew.
International distribution is by DreamWorks which was founded by Steven Spielberg, Jeffrey Katzenberg, and David Geffen: Jews.
The only non-Jewish person involved in this film at a high level is Robert De Niro. Every other facet of production was done by Jews. Jews are the people getting the residuals every time this film is shown anywhere on earth.
The director of the BBC is Tony Hall: Anglican.
However, the director of television at the BBC is Danny Cohen: Jew.
Maybe the director of the Israeli version of the BBC might want to show Meet the Fockers many multiples of times every month for years on end. Jews might enjoy such an overtly Jewish film as Meet the Fockers. But in the UK Jews are 0.5% of the population.
So there's no public demand. People aren't clamoring for more Meet the Fockers. I doubt that it's a rating success for BBC3.
We need to follow the money. It's Jews enriching other Jews and doing so intentionally to the detriment of non-Jews. This is a story that should be told. How much money is being sent from the BBC to the Jews who produced and starred in Meet the Fockers for repeatedly showing that film? Could this money be better spent? This is a government-owned operation, after all.
And who in the government has oversight for this? I don't think David Cohen can do this by himself. Somebody must be noticing that Meet the Fockers is on an inordinate amount of time on BBC3. Somebody is signing these metaphorical cheques.
I'd love to see a story on this. But then do a search of the people who own the newspapers and what their religion is and you'll see why we won't ever get this story.
