1. As previously mentioned, write down as much as you can, the trainer will wait for you to complete making notes before moving on. 2. If you don't understand, ask, others will want to ask but may be too scared to do so, the trainer will be happy to answer the query, as long as it doesn't go too far off topic. If the trainer can't answer the particular query, they should write it down & try to find out for you, hopefully by the end of the course. 3. If you contact whoever is holding these courses, then they will be able to provide you a list of the Bosch Yelow Jacket books that support each course, there are generally 2 or 3 books that support each course, these are between £7.50 & $10 each, you can then buy these though your Bosch distributor. You would also find the Bosch Blue Book 5th Edition a useful reference tool for the future, this is around £35 or so. 4. Finally I would say (and without being patronising) get a good night's sleep before each day of the course, don't drink loads the night before either. If your a long way from the course venue, consider staying in digs nearby. And also make sure you get to the venue in plenty of time in the morning. From experience the guys who have had little sleep, have been on the lash the night before, or who turn up late & are flustered do the worst in the exams at the end of the course, possibly even failing due to this, when I know they should have passed if they had done it all right.
