Frank is very knowledgeable about oscilloscopes and will tailor his courses to suit different levels of experience. Don't get me wrong I'm not being paid by Frank to sponsor his business, in fact we had a bit of a falling out several years ago after I did a course up in his workshops in Preston. I thought the week I spent with him wasn't structured very well and I thought he could have taught me a lot more in that week especially as the workshop wasn't very busy I thought we could have done more theory work, but in fairness perhaps I couldn't have taken much more in at the time. Then when I started putting some of my learning into practice and ran into a few problems, as you do, Frank wasn't very helpful. Bearing in mind the cost of the training and the money I spent buying equipment through Frank I was a bit agrieved.I have since discovered that at the time Frank and Jean were having some family problems and Jean some health problems and we have since made up. The latest course of Franks I attended at Luton made me realise that if we are ever going to keep on top of the electronics in todays cars we really need the sort of training that Frank offers, love him or not Frank does know his stuff.
Regards,
Derek
