Thanks everyone for your advice.... got speaking to someone at another garage yesterday and he mentioned a grant available through a local business link from the EU. A few phone calls later and it appears that you can reclaim 40% of your initial website costs, but only if you're in the Notts area, and it must be done by 20th December....

right got to go and organise a website by next week.... thanks again...
