Mr. Peter Coombes

It is announced today that Peter Coombes has decided to stand down as Director and Chairman of Sykes-Pickavant Ltd; although Peter will remain as a shareholder.

Peter was one of the original team that was instrumental in acquiring the Sykes-Pickavant business some 18 months ago, along with Paul Archer and David Mekie; however, Peter has decided that he now requires the time to re-focus on his other business interests.

The remaining Directors at Sykes-Pickavant Ltd wish to express their thanks to Peter for his input and direction before and since the acquisition of the business, and wish him success in his future ventures.

Since the acquisition from the Facom Tools group, Sykes-Pickavant has launched more than 100 new products and subscriptions to the ACR4 Diagnostics Programme have increased by more than 100%.

The current Directors (Paul Archer, David Mekie & Andy O’Hare) are confident of continued growth as new product developments come on stream during the course of this year.

An announcement concerning new appointments to the Board of Directors will be made shortly.
