having just been issued with a £30 fix penalty for not wearing a seat belt whilst driving a customers car on road test the officer has informed me that you are only exempt whilst using trade plates does anybody know if this is true !! i am a vat registered workshop and was wearing overalls and had plastic seatcovers on the seat when stopped.
