Top 24 candidates revealed

The identity of the UK’s top vehicle repair expert is one step closer to being revealed following the announcement of the top 24 candidates.

Entrants from throughout the UK completed a mixture of 27 multiple choice and open questions covering every aspect of advanced vehicle repair and diagnostics.

The top scoring technicians will now compete for a place in the competition’s grand final at one of two regional heats on March 6th and 7th in Bristol and Blackburn. Technician Conrad Omand will be travelling all the way from the Orkney Islands to compete for the top prize.

The final will take place on 29th April at the Jaguar Land Rover Training Academy in Warwick. The eventual winner will receive the prestigious title of Top Technician 2009 along with a £10,500 prize package.
