Basically i have got a customer with a mazda 6 which is 5 1/2 years old. One of the PAS pipes developed a leak and when i called mazda i was told this was covered by a recall for 6 years.

This made sense as i belived the manf. has a 6 year duty of care over all its new vehicles.

Anyway, customer went to mazda and they said no, its now 5 years so you need to pay.

The customer has returned to me not very happy as he belives mazda are just changing the rules to suit them...

anyone shed any light on this?
