I rang and asked for aphoto as we could not be sure who was driving to which they replied it was the back of the car so could not identify driver they then told me it was the company secretary or a director who would have to take the points and fine as someone had to be responsible but it would be sorted in court, and that we should log all test drives.
I told them we do over 100 a week and that would mean all we done was paperwork and therefore not practical.
We alresady monitor our courtesy car like this but it would also mean we have to log whena customer drops off and picks up their car so we didn't get caught.
RMIF have heard of these cases but never the outcome all they can suggest is one of us pays the money and do the speed awareness course so as not to get the points.
The whole thing stinks if they cannot identify the driver by photo they should drop the case.
your thoughts and comment please
Kelly
