I have seen promechanic before

A few months back I had a membership application for UKAT membership, the company on the form looked like a Motor Factor, so I gave them a call to confirm details

I can now tell you that the person signing up just worked behind the counter selling parts at the Motor Factors, I was told they wanted to join as they had several garages in their trading area that have various problems fixing vehicles, they wanted to join UKAT to find answers......probably to make themselves look good when they reply to questions on their own promechanic forum (at our expence)

I cannot remember the name of the Motor Factor as the form was shredded, but I do remember finding their website with a direct link to promechanic........so the Motor Factor owns it

Due to the lack of posts I can only assume the owner is skimming email addresses from this forum to spam email UKAT members

Perhaps one or two of you could reply to his request
