Just browsing through previous posts (at a loose end cos the wife wont talk to me, something to do with spending too much money setting up a buisness) noted talk of card merchant services.
If you should need to type Payment Sense into Google and give them a call, they set me up with a mobile machine for 35 per mth rental inc VAT, 1.8% on credit cards 28p on debit cards and no setup cost at all, card machine is on 18 mth contract. Being a new buisness start-up I thought this was more than reasonable you may be able to get better with more turnover, card clearing is done by HBOS. Hope this helps keep your costs down
