UKAT Workshop Data is business as usual for the foreseeable future

SOLERA now own Autodata and CarWeb (e3technical) which gives them control over around 95% of the Workshop Data systems we use in the UK

Owning CarWeb gives them control on how Haynes Pro Data (via e3technical) is distributed in the UK. It would not make good business sense for them to migrate e3technical to Autodata as this would probably force Haynes Pro to launch a stand alone product in the UK and possibly start taking big chunks out of their market share

If Haynes Pro launched a stand alone product in the UK they would still need the help of CarWeb as they are the supplier of VRM lookups for virtually all UK based VRM systems

The only thing that may need looking at is if prices start to go up, e3technical must still be allowed to set their own (no price fixing between companies)

Had a letter yesterday from my trade association saying they can do Autodata for me at £1035.00 lets see if it's still that this time next year
