Oh! yeh I love 'em. I come from the auto electrical side of this and our favourite used to be the astra/cavalier driver who'd turned up with " my car dosen't always start " and when you get to look under their bonnet you spot the new starter, alternator and battery that they have got from the local accessory shop after a brief look round you tell them " it's your earth lead." their reply...."no it's not". It's rare but I have explained the error of the customers ways. And as they haven't yet fixed it perhaps they are not best placed to comment, ( well that the edited high lights for you of a nervous disposition). Then crowning glory of all, you ask for a donation to the coffee fund for imparting your wisdom and they says " what? for telling me that?". I was once sent a poster from Joe Kenyons auto electical. A restaurant owner takes his car into his local garage, says " hears an alternator I have bought. Can you fit it for me, and can you make sure it's charging". His mechanic does as he has been asked. That night the mechanic walks in to the customers restaurant, slaps two lamb chops on the counter and says," can you cook these, pink in the middle please, and chuck a couple of spuds, some veg and mint sauce on the plate".
