    Managed to lose service book ! Archived Message

    I have had a customer's service book ( including leatherette wallet and owner's manual etc.) for a few months now and even knew where it was until yesterday when they 'phoned and asked for it back.

    Slightly embarassing is the fact that I could not find the blessed thing despite nearly falling over it daily for all that time.

    Concerned that I am losing the remaining marbles, but more concerned about what I am going to tell the customer, I thought I might ask The Members what they thought.

    The car is a six year old Tigra so my thoughts are that the service record will not affect it's resale value much if at all. Needless to say, this customer is fastidious and may not see it that way.
