    You're so right Dave. The YTS lads we've had over the past 10 or more years haven't had this vital ingredient. The one that really did it for me was one lad of 17 took his mountain bike to the bike repairman to have it serviced and repaired....A pushbike!

    I remember at the age of 7 rubbing down the paintwork of me dad's A35 van. Learning how to mask and watching me dad paint with Dupi-colour aerosols At 14 I overhauled the engine on his FB Victor...Cord rings (Remember them) New shells and cut the valves in. When it fired up I ran out of the garage because I thought it would go bang...Great and exciting days.

    I just wish I could find a lad who wants to pull things to bits for the hell of it, and not want to clock off as soon as the clock strikes 5.30.

    Maybe we live in different times now...Christ I’m sounding like an old git....and I'm not!
