It's a pain but you just have to take it on the chin.How long did it really take to check? I find the worst bit is reassuring the customer there is nothing wrong without offending them.At least they gave you the oppertunity to check it,if they doubted you that much it would have gone elsewhere and who knows what cock & bull they would be fed.Occasionally I get a disgruntled customer from another garage, if I find a cock up I always suggest they should take it back and give them the chance to put it right....they never do.
