I've been having the same problem for well over 6 months re this site.
I go to over 10 different sites that require a user name and password and they all work except this site.
On a number of occasions I have deleted cookies, files and history and have to reenter my user name and password and it works again on all sites except this one.
The only exception is this forum (Motor Trade Discussion) where it is remembered.
The only clue is I don't need a user name or password to enter this forum, I only need one to post or reply.
