Money For Old Rope. Had a visit from my insurance guy back in January, insurance renewel due in Febuary. He inspected my premises Etc: as he does every year,said i have one of the best records he has ever known [no claims at all in fifteen years], and that my security measures are excellent but then tells me that the cost for 03 has to be increased by nearly a thousand pounds. After picking myself up off the floor i venture to ask WHY?. Terrorism says he. Don't do it says i, just fix cars. No, says he, terrorism, war and 9 11, insurance companies are getting jumpy and off he goes. So i think, right shop around, same story nearly everywhere if you want good cover. So i renew and pay up. Come Febuary get my new policy, reading through and what do i find, yes you've guessed it, a great big clause, excluding all acts of terrorism and war from my cover. Still, i'm sure i'm covered for, well?????. Colin.
