Hi John In my experience PC World are at best 'convienient' I do buy some things from them purely and simply because they have it when I want it! If you are planning on doing something i.e. network etc. it is unlikely it is something you are going to wake up one morning and think 'today I will network my PC's, best get to PC World and buy the bits I need'. Just as a comparison I was recently looking for some network cable and a 50 metre roll from PC World was £63.00, I found a 305 foot roll online for £36.00 inc vat and broadband filters PC World £15.00 each, online £4.20 inc vat, quite a saving! Also what you say about the help they provide seems to be true whichever one you visit, they generally have some kid just out of school who knows more about Playstations and warranties than anything else, occasionally you might get an assistant who knows what he is talking about but I have found this very rare. Regards Shaun P.S. That gives me an idea.. UKPCTalk what do you think?
