I posted re this problems months ago.
Since then I nuked the harddrive and installed 2000 pro. Everything has been fine until about a week ago. It will "forget" my user name and password for 1 or two forums on this site ONLY. I type them in and click the "save password" and its fine next time I log on BUT it will have forgotten one of the other forums on this site.
For instance, just now, I had to type in the user name and password for the "Engine management" forum which I had to type in 4 days ago and was fine until just now.
