Hi We have got most of the autodata books that we have bought and paid for, they are ours and will not time out, at the end of the day, they are about £50.00 each,(fair enough) and i would think we might buy 1 or 2 a year, we then bought the autodata cd on subscription, it takes longer to use unless you have the kts or pc in front of you, it is now getting ready for timing out as we must have had it 10 months. (it says 60 day's left) so we have basicly spent about £400. on information that we have already paid for in the books, (and sometimes it's in the books and not on cd) it is good when the info is there but for our job with auto electrics it usually isn't there, or not specific, which is useless. If I am going to pay for the info, once I have paid for it, I want to keep it. I nearly sent mine back for a refund as soon as I recieved it, but I thought we had better give it a chance and a year to see how it went, so we did, but I think it was the wrong decision, (for me), but may be good for the garages needing tech data, timing belts etc, which we don't.
