    Hi Rob

Yes i have already started using Camberley Auto Factors, as they are the only other Motor Factor in Crawley that can match the customer service and deliveries to the same standard of the old Express Factors. If you do not have a part in stock, then you can usually source it from one of your other branches or suppliers the same day. I have never used Parto (Unipart Automotive)before as a supplier, delivery times being one of the biggest issues, plus as you say, if they do not have a part in stock, then they will pop next door and get it from you.

I have been using the Unipart Direct software for about 6 months (parts, service/repair times) and to be honest it does work well, but when i signed up it was to be used in conjunction with Express Factors, now it's with Partco, so when you look up parts, say filters, it will default to Coopers, not Unipart. So to me this defeats the object of being a car care centre. Unipart have also changed their nationwide guarantee from unipart parts to ANY part bought from a Partco branch

It will be interesting to see if Crawley does get an X-Part factor, and if they are just going to stock the same brand names as your company, then i don't think you will loose any business

For me, the Motor Factor that has knowledgeable staff and a good reliable delivery service, will get my business

    Peter

PS: For me,the demise of the Express Factors in Crawley is the end of the Unipart era, Unipart Car Care Centre or not, your business relies totaly on your parts suppliers and the services they offer
