Hi Job What you are saying is very scary, and of course very real. Even I am struggling to get VW to disclose the login code for my car so I can code two new keys myself. So far I've waited two weeks. I'm ringing customer services ( again ) on Tues. We SHOULD be able to make a difference, we live in a country where the small voice ( in theory ) can be heard. I don't think the motor trade bodies want the fight, too much to loose if they fail. This seems to me like a situation where we need to speak to Mr Blair directly. It's an economy threatening topic and like most things where you need a result, maybe we should just go straight to the top. Maybe an online document detailing the points you have mentioned that we could all endorse, then send it to the boss ?? At least it would be a start and Downing Street DO reply, unlike some. Dave
