I agree. It's the end user of the vehicle that has the clout. We need to make the implications of this public, show the drivers that choice is being cleverly steered away from them. On here there are many readers, and many more out there who could be made to find out there was such a document to support ( damn, Peter, think of the traffic !!! )
Plan a date to deliver it to either MP's or No 10 itself, a timely word & a copy of the doc to the local press & radio stations in advance to stir up some interest ? After all, anyone with a car would be affected by this so most would read into it. Another angle on this is the aftermarket tool manufacturers, Advanced Diagnostics AD100 for example. What are they doing about it ? Why are they developing a tool that no one may be able to use ? Do they know something we dont ? Are the manufacturers going to comply with regulations by nominating one outlet for aftermarket programming ?
