Hi TonyYes lets hope so. As we know many of the Tech Info CD's do have holes in their data or incorrect info, but they are probably only working with what the manufacturers are willing to let them have. If as the Motor Trade bodies imply, that info is getting easier to obtain, then perhaps a few holes can be plugged. But who will ever know if the manufacturers are actually playing ball and handing over, say every wiring diagram or correct torque setting
One thing is for sure, it looks a if the Trade Bodies are going to get better access to the manufacturers info than us Independents, so we are always going to have our info third hand, and at a price!!
One fantastic suggestion made by a member to me was, that every vehicle made should have a CD produced and sold with the vehicle (kept with service book) when new, that contains all the tech info, codes, wiring diagrams etc. All you would need if you are a registered garage is the access code to view the data
