    Hi again mick. We test the coil by wiring it up on a bench with a module tester, (I saw one firm advertise that they test them by flashing a pos and neg onto them at least 5 times to see if they got a spark)??. If that tests out ok, just fit a new module, it is available from ford, From memory I think the part no is 4116006, but check this as my memory is not what it should be. I think if you check pulses at the plug you should have 3 different pulses,2 from pickups to ecu and one back from ecu to dizzy, if you have these 3 pulses and no spark it needs a new module. otherwise it could be the immobiliser.
