Hi all I had a run in with the local ford dealer a while ago regaurding a faulty fuel tank sender on a focus they said they didnt have to honour it as the car had been serviced elswhere when i brought up the change in the law they said that the car only had a one year warranty from ford the other 2 years were with the dealer so the ruling did not apply when i asked them how manny focus fuel tank senders they had done latley they looked verry sheepish,when I told them the owner was likley to take it further as he was a solicitor they replied yeah yeah,so i recomended they check who it was registered to on the computer boy did they change theyr position!,The car was booked in for the following day!!,But does anyone know what the position is on this loophole ford seem to be trying to use ?,Jon.
