Hi Gord, We pay somewhere in the region of £120 per anum for the licence on our heater, and if they think that they are going to charge me that sort of money, then they can 'stick it up their A**' !! Don't you all feel that these charges are going to push people like ourselves ever closer to taking the chance on breaking the law?? I had a 'on-the-spot' check a few months ago, everything was all ok, but the bloke just had to comment on a small amount of oil that had spilled out of the bottom of our scrap metal skip, onto the dirt base that it sits on. I asked him just how we are meant to stop every single drop of oil from leaking from scrap boxes, engines etc, and he just replied 'that's basically your problem not ours'!!!Where is it going to end? Off me soapbox now chaps, Any comments?? Gunner!
