I have a waste carries licence manly for my recovery truck because as it was explain to me if i picked up a broken down car and took it back to my workshop, omly to find the customer said its going to cost to much to repair can you dipose of it i am breaking the law then to take it for disposal, if i picked it up and went straight to disposal thats OK. Be stopped by the police and ministry of transport (sorry VOSA) and never been asked for lience. As for house hold waste i live in a area where most houses are small terrerced dewillngs with minimale gardens so the council give them a big wheely bin for garden rubbish and a box a little bit bigger than a shoe box for all the paper, cans and plastic. By time you,ve got the wheely bin in garden the garden full and by time you,ve had 1 junk mail delivery so the shoe box!!!! MOAN OVER FOR NOW AS I CAN HEAR THEM KNOCKING ON THE DOOR.
