Dear Mr Warwick
Thank you for letter dated 20 September 2004, regarding the service requirements for you Suzuki Carry van.
The requirement for warranty is that the product is serviced and maintained in accordance with the manufacturerÂ’s recommendations. The requirements are explained in the Service Record and Warranty Policy booklet and in the relevant OwnerÂ’s Manual. Additional in-depth information is in the Workshop Manual for the product and this is available to purchase from the dealer network.
May I take this opportunity to advise you that Suzuki recommends that all servicing is carried out by an authorised Suzuki dealer, as they are kept up to date with any changes to servicing requirements and campaigns. Their workshops also equipped with specialist tools and their staff are product trained to the manufacturerÂ’s standard. Please also bear in mind that should a failure occur due to non-standard servicing, or lack of product knowledge, warranty on associated components may be denied.
In closing, I hope the above information clarifies SuzukiÂ’s position and thank you for taking the time to write to Suzuki Customer Services.
Yours sincerely
