The problem with Ford codes, is they are only visible on the diagnostic computer screen. So if you tell them a code number they have no way of accessing what the code means, unless they plug FDS/WDS into the car. This would give them the code and a description. In other words Ford don't have anything written or on electronic media with a list of fault codes (except airbags)...
