We charge £42 for a class 4 test,trade pay £37, we are full all the time, £25 is crazy, what other profession gives money away? When computerisation starts the statistics will show how long is spent on each test etc, For retests read tests. We have told our trade customers to prepare cars before bringing them to avoid retests for silly items (THIS IS WHAT CAUSES MOST UPSETS) Do the whole job properly charge the customer the time, its their fault if they don't keep their vehicle maintained. MOT is lowest standard, any well maintained car should be able to pass same day. Computerisation is a great chance for the trade to get paid for their time and investment. Regards Neil
