I have just aquired a car from an mot station that passed the car onto me after it was not collected from them after an MOT.They tried to contact the owner but he never came back for the car.As the car was with them for over 5 months they sold it to me at a scrap price.To cut a long story short I wanted to keep the car and take ownership of it.But having made a few enquiries this is not as straight forward as i thought it would be.Does anyone out there have any ideas on the best action to take in order to take over ownership or is it best to leave well alone.
