Yep we were one of those garages. After 2 hours and some very irate phone calls we were told to use the old MOT test certs that were sealed for emergency. All this after two days live. This time I bitterly complained about the amount of wasted labour time this unready system was costing our business. I was told to complain to my local VOSA office and they would forward the lost time complaint/money lost onto Siemens. I've started to keep a log of lost time and if it continues I'll want the money back off them. Why the hell should small business loose money if a company the size of Siemens can't get it right after 7 years in the making.
