I would imagine that the basic engine/gearbox swap should be easy enough. The tricky bit would be likly to be all the faffing arround with the wireing and finding suitable mounting points for the various injection bits. You will also have to make arrangements for the high presure fuel pump. For my money I would keep the convertable, especially now the weathers got nice
