Callibration of MOT bay equipment

Weve just got our new contract from Sun to calibrate the MoT bay equipment and its gone up about 20% this year to £769.63.

I phoned to see why it had gone up but they couldnt give me a good reason.

Can anyone recomend a calibration firm

We are with MSI

Same old story... our contract went up by about 20% and they say its due to our equipment getting older.. what 1 year older ?

We use Future Garages Services run by John Torr A one man band fron Chelmsford,Ive known him for years.
Last time charged us £375/yr plus VAT for Brake and beam tester,Smoke and gas tester.
We used to have MSI before they were taken over but nealy always had grief after cals were done.They may be better now?
