What now after ACR 4

Since nobody is bothering to monitor sykes`s website anymore and we are getting no replies from them on technical helpline, What are we all going to buy insted of ACR 4 any suggestion mine wants updating but dont want to spend a fortune, I want something simple to use I dont do a lot of diagnostics but need something to keep all my regulars happy needs to cover Ford, Vauxhall, Peugeot, Citroen, Renault, Fiat not bothered about japanese cars but need to be able to do the basics

As ACR4 is not timebombed I guess it will continue to read fault codes on any vehicle with a 16 pin eobd socket even without updates.
With a decent scope this may be enough for basic fault finding.

With people as good as Frank Massey deciding to concentrate on specific makes have we reached a new level in the art of diagnostics-----the art of knowing when to walk away?

Hi,

We tend to avoid jobs that we know are unprofitable or will be a headache. Especially makes & models that we are unlikely to work on many times in the future and therefore capitalise on the product knowledge.
