Invoicing Software

Ok
If any onf you guys are considering going computer invoicing, the best one i have used which is very simple to use and only takes a few minuites to raise an account or cash sale invoice, this is far the best i have used, bought packages and tried many demo's all to complicated and long winded. Has my recomendations.

Second that Milan!
Just been beta testing the latest Garage Assistant software for Steve, and It's gonna be even better than Deskmanager. Anyone who wants a good software package that is easy to use, then visit SWS's website. PS: Steve also has a fully interactive radio code website as well, which he can generate codes on-line for you in a matter of seconds.

I couldn't agree more mate! I think that Steve has approached pete about becoming a sponsor on the site, but as yet, there are no vacancies. How about squeezing our mate in a little spot somewhere Pete?

I spoke to Steve a while ago, and it turns out he lives around the corner from me......small world!. I don't use the software myself but i hear good things about it. We may be able to do a banner exchange on one of our pages as this is a product that could be very useful to members

Have you got Garage Assistant yet John, If not wait till Ya get that me old mate. It's even better than deskmanager by leaps and bounds, and I'm sure Milan will back me up on that! Nice one also Peter! I think that Steve is one bloke who deserves a bit of a hand with this new venture, and I spoke to him yesterday and he was eager to get a little slot on UKAT. And one thing I will say about Steve, is he is the Andy Amor of invoice software! If you gotta problem, he'll normally get the fault corrected for you within 24 hours! He also offers a remote desktop support so he can actually access your desktop and install software or correct faults within your software package. Not many invoice software companies offer service and support like that!

Only joking Steve, nice to see you onboard UKAT, and I'm sure you'll be most welcomed by all! Nice one Peter for letting Steve on-board, I don't think you'll regret it one bit. Anyone out there considering a cost effective way of converting from hand-written invoicing to a computerised system, then give GARAGE ASSISTANT by Steven a try, you will be quite impressed I'm sure!

Nice to see you on board, anyway keep up the good work and i'm sure most guy's on here will buy your software (if they dont there FOOLS) also i would probably say that it doesnt matter if you currency is in £ $ or ¤ will still work set up your own VAT % its that easy!!!! well done Steve canr priase it enough, oh if anyone want any wesite doing his sister is excellent for the job http://www.elaineeagles.co.uk/index.php

Wow.... my own fan club...

When I first made the package to use at the garage I work I never expected that 1 1/2 years later I would have as many customers, should I say happy customers as I do...

I just hope it shows it doesnt have to cost thousands to manage a few invoices, and it doesnt have to be a major company with thousands of employees to give a good service. After all theres only 2 of us at SWS but we dont close for lunch and the office doesnt close at 5pm

Anyway I personally think it compares quite well to most systems I have looked at, apart from the fact it seems to be easier to use than most and contain more english words like print and save rather than some software I have seen.

If I go on much more I think my new membership to UKAT will be suspended for over advertising myself anyway...

Anyway back to work.... its still early

I had a look at Garage assistant the other day.I thought deskmanager was a delight to use,garage assistant looks excellent.

Its ready now...

Theres been a few minor bugs which I have hopefully got rid of now but we have confirmation that data upgrades are working flawlessly from version 3.26, 3.27 and 3.28 of DeskManager...

I downloaded the Garage Assistant demo software, which didn't work, I have twice Emailed for support in the last week, so far no reply. Where is the outstanding support? Is it just me?

We had a few problems with earlier versions. Took a while to get sorted, I decided to phone Steve wright, problems sorted in the end. It is a very good system once up & running. I think hes very busy but hes OK once you get in touch with him.

Got your email today, unfortunatly I have not seen any prior to this. I have checked my spam filters etc unless there is a problem on my email server which I will look into now.

As for the problem you are having :

This is normally caused when your trying to run Garage Assistant on Windows 95, 98 or ME.
Unfortunatly Garage Assistant is only compatible with Windows 2000 or Windows XP
