The ford tec man was correct when he told john about having to reset the adaptions after fitting new pads on some new fords the new Focus being one of them, this is also true if you change the brake fluid on a main service and bleed the brakes, the solution at this moment in time if your scanner will not reset the adaptions as most wont, first tape back the sensor on the brake pedal this is the blue potentiometer on the ford Focus, and after pumping the pressure back up on the brakes or after bleeding the brakes remove the tape and there is no need to reset the adaptions, Are yes but you must check to see if each new ford has this system on it before you start the job!. Good luck lads Tom.
