golf crank shaft sensor ring

hi I've got an 02 1.6 16v golf and the rear crankshaft sensor has been replaced but i think the ring is in the wrong place any one know how to do this

Is this ring "Shrunk" onto the flywheel??

Would you say that the owner was a "Boy Racer"??

OK, Its just that I have found occasions in the past where Boy Racers doing "Burnouts" heat up the flywheel so much that the reluctor ring pings off.
