I'm in the market to get a new car and have been looking at Honda Accords....yes, i know, i'm getting old ;-)

I've come across a couple of sites (i.e. Motorpoint, Bob Gerard) that have European imports in at a considerable saving. Unfortunately they are either the wrong spec or automatics, plus they don't seem to have any diesels. No one seems keen to get one to order (they say they order in bulk only the specs they think they will sell).

Therefore, I was wondering if anyone could recommend any import agents or can advise on whether they have had any luck importing cars themselves and how they went about it.

If I can get a new one of the right colour and spec for the price of 1-2 year old one then that is the way forward for me....

Not sure if this will help or not, but...i think they also import !!
