MK IV Golf Auto Locking

Hi all,
Can anyone tell me if the automatic locking can be disabled ? Have spoken to the local stealers and they've never been asked this before ? (aparently)

The Ross-Tech site is the best site for this type of information. Just had a quick look and found this.

Channel 03 Auto Lock
Channel 04 Auto Unlock
Channel 05 Unlock, horn sounds
Channel 06 Lock, horn sounds
Channel 07 Unlock, turn signals flash
Channel 08 Lock, turn signals flash

BUT BEWARE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I KNOW NOTHING

Thanks for the replys, i've not got VAG COM do you know of any other equipment that can do this or recomend someone in the southeast that has it ?

I imagine that just about any aftermarket tool should be able to do it. What tool do you use for VAG?

I'm working around Ashford area a lot. If you want to try on VAG com or AD your welocome to have a go. Never had to do one though.

Thanks for all the reply's lads, have spoken to the customer & am expecting the car back next week & hopfully will take a trip upto see joe @ chequers garage
