Got a Mini Cooper in at the moment 27000 miles thermostat sticking & blown head gasket our local BMW dealership says there is a worldwide shortage of thermostats and they have ten vehicles stuck in their workshops at the moment.
Now that Minis are coming out of warranty & TLC agreements all sorts of worms are coming out of the wood work like these vehicles burn out clutches in 25-30k wiring looms go up in smoke. Also a good customer of ours bought one as I suggested as it has BMW backing should be good, well after 3 months of wrangling over more than 15 major warranty claims 2 of the problems are incurable, they have just delivered another vehicle to them to replace the original purchase.
Ho Hum thank goodness even the best of manufacturers cant get it right I wonder if the ghost of Red Robbo is haunting the Cowley production line.
