It would appear Bosch Car Service centers are asked to price different jobs on Porches by Mr Jamal. Latest is a cayane Here are genuine parts prices For a 4.5 ltr petrol clutch, kit £361 bearing £39.50 tube £12.00 labour time 7.5 hrs (we quoted 16 hrs ) hope this will save some of you a bit of time when he rings you

Hi,

We are a Bosch Car Service garage. Prior to that we were a Service Agent. It does seem that these days, possibly due to Bosch marketing, we are asked to do a lot of estimates that, frankly, can be a waste of time. Often, there is an expectation we will charge about 50% below dealer on both parts and labour!!

Be interested to know how much a Dealer would charge for 7.5hrs compared against what you charge for 16 hours. I always quote more hours at my rate, or book time at dealer rate, either way it is almost the same.

same job same quote Bosch have sent out a e-mail to their BCS network about the phone calls.
