Toyota Prius Hybrid - Service info required #

hiya guys.
got a 2001 toyota prius hybrid coming in, in a couple of weeks for a service,never done one before,is there any service checks or pre-cautions i need to check/take on the main battries?
customer say's the starting battery loses power at times.
any advise welcome,thanks.john
