Yet another scheme - Good Accident Repair Scheme

Here we go again, another scheme to join if any of you want to.

Any idea how many are on the go at the moment?

I may be wrong but this smells like the Good Garage Scheme wanting a bigger bite at the cherry.

The good garage scheme works for us, so if this works does it matter if they are jumping on the band wagen,
At the end of the day its about us all making money ,
If it helps drive customers to your door great ,but it will all depend on costs and how well its marketed.
The good garage sheme has been marketed very well,if this is as good then its worth trying.
I cant see it beening forthe ,what use are adertives in the body shop.

Joking aside, for customers it may be easier to find the good accident than to find which is the good scheme

It does matter that another scheme as jumped on the band wagon, because it leads to customer confusion and waters down the other schemes already out there, not that it bothers me but some of them are working. A good garage should not need to join any schemes to attract more customers, doing the job right and looking after the customers you have already got will bring in more work. Word of mouth is very powerfull tool.

It works for me and many many other garages on here, booked up two to three weeks in advance for months on end. This is what the public call a good garage, being listed on a website with nice comments doesn't make you a good garage at all.

I do not think there is a Forte (GGS) connection (could be wrong), but the web domain appears to be registered to

Sorry but I've started another scheme...

The scheme is for garages that are not already in a scheme and don't want to be in a scheme.

The scheme follows these simple rules...

No hard sell

No fancy website

No customer feedback forms

No posters for your reception

No excessive use of additives

No additional signage for your building

The beauty of this scheme is that it's easy to implement, just follow the golden rule.

Golden rule... "Just carry on has you are and don't change a thing"...

Just a thought....... What about starting a good customer Scheme... you know, the one where you can find customers that pay on time, don't whinge about the bill, respect your advice and don't treat you as if you only went into the motor trade because you are too stupid to stack shelves in the local supermarket
