does anyone know if Mr Watt is still trading,
I have tried ringing and the web site is unavailable
(have paid for part ordered)

I too received an unsolicited email from Ranald RW this time plying the same stuff as rw motortec but under a new name & location.

I was relieved when I stopped receiving his constant spams , but looks like he's started over again.

I will have to send this new enterpise an email to stop sending me again I guess.

Evening Mark,

If RW Motortec has ceased trading as has been implied, then you might be whistling in the wind to get either your product or your money back. It would be interesting to know either way. I wish you the best of luck nonetheless.

Hi All

Had another email from RRW & his pheonix company . I went to the bottom of his email to manage subscription & found that he gets the email addresses from ukat , I have once again unchecked the box that I never checked in the first place

.

As he no longer sponsors on this forum is his continued used of forum details an abuse of the terms ?

The members database link page states:

"Please note: The Members database is for personal use only. Please do not copy or reproduce any of the uk autotalk members details for marketing purposes"

This applies to members and sponsors. If RWM have used the e-mail addresses then they have broken our terms and conditions

If a company sends out promotional e-mails then they must provide an "unsubscribe" or "opt out" link as a legal requirement, if they continue to spam you then they are breaking the law

As stated RWM is no longer a sponsor of UKAT, so they no longer have access to an members details, these are on a password protected section of the site

I'm sure if everyone requests a demo and then sends him away with a flea in his ear he'll soon get the idea. Works with debt collection companies and the business rate appeal 'experts'.
