James Dillon Evening Seminars #

Hi All

Just a quick note to let you all know that I am embarking on a series of evening seminars around the UK.

These are hosted in conjunction with the IMI at their various member associations.

Tonight I am at Jaguar Land Rover Training Academy in Warwick and after this, on the 11th May, I am at the RAC Building in Walsall.

The topic of these next two seminars is CAN and In-vehicle Networking.

These are sponsored by Tech Topics and the IMI - there is no charge for attending

.

There are a series of different subjects, depending on the venue, which will run throughout the year.

I'll keep you posted of new dates as they are confirmed. The 'tour' is nationwide.

Hi Guys

Sean & John: Yep, Scotland is on the plan, I will let you know when. There are three or four venues listed; Edinburgh, Dumfries, East of Scotland and Inverness.

James: Bescot on May 11th is 7:00 for 7:30. It will be good to catch up. I dont think I've seen you since the UKAT CAN Bus training session in the Midlands many years ago.

Tony: I will post the contact number of the organiser against the various venues. You don't necessarily need to be a member to attend, as most groups are happy to have 'guests'. You'll just need to call the organiser so that they know how many chairs and cups to organise. There were around 60 people at Jaguar Landrover they were a mix of both IMI members and guests.

Thanks James, I'd be very grateful, as Bescot is local. I'm a member (of sorts) at the moment due to ATA through my previous employer, but that expires June this year.

Next event: Training Day being held at Autologic, Oxford.

Hi guys

Well, thanks must go to the RAC and the IMI (especially centre Chairman Paul Jarvis) for putting on a great evening. Around 30 folks were there to share the experience of a 1hr 30 min version of CAN Bus and In-vehicle networking.

The next formal public event I am attending/ hosting is a one day electrical fault finding and Can Bus course which is being held at Autologics HQ on 14th June 2011. This is a pay to attend event.

Most of the places for this event are sold already, however, we are running two more events at Autologic Oxford.
