I have recently just got AutoData but wondered what the difference is between the two? AV seems rather a lot cheaper than AD, do they have the same features on or what?

Hi Richard
I have been using AutoVista for the last couple of years
All the technical information that AutoVista uses is from Haynes Pro
Haynes Pro is widely used across Europe and beyond but as a stand alone product it is not available in the UK
Haynes Pro data in the UK is available via AutoVista from Blueprint and E3Technical from CarWeb this is so it can be linked to VRM lookup
It basically comes down to personal preference between the two (AutoVista or E3), personally I think that AutoVista is a much slicker looking product, it also has the full Bluprint Parts catalogue integrated
Even though it is totally online I have never encountered and access speed issues, I believe AutoData are having issue with this at the moment as they go all online

AutoVista is a useful add-on to AD but can't replace it. IMHO it tries to be all things to all people when all we want is the technical data - and there are some big holes in that at the moment. Will look again in a year or two to see where it's heading.
